The Walk to Defeat ALS™ is The ALS Association’s national signature event to raise money and awareness for ALS. This family-friendly event is fun for all ages.Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Eventually, people with ALS lose the ability to initiate and control muscle movement, which often leads to total paralysis and death within two to five years of diagnosis.  With your help, we can continue the fight against ALS and continue the mission of The ALS Association – to find a cure for and improve the quality of life for those living with ALS. • Front door: is it in good repair including door hardware, paint, no scuffs, & window etc.
• Stair Railings: does it need to be scraped and painted?
• Landscaping: new mulch, trim plants and flowers.
• Concrete: make sure the stairs, driveway & stoop/porch are in good repair.
• Porch: if space allows add some fresh flower to add some color and cheer.
